CELEBRATIONS

Thomas Vanderburg would like to thank:

Faith Ayala, Marissa Wright-Williams, and Lakendra Smalley for helping to make the ASPIRE movie club lock-in a success earlier this month.  We stayed up all night with around 50 students to enjoy a Harry Potter movie marathon—nearly 20 hours of magical fun.

Coach Jason Tucker.  He has shown great leadership with his coaching staff since he arrived on campus in February.  Buff Nation athletics is in great hands with him at the helm.

Jason Tucker, who has already had a positive influence on our athletes and school. He has been positive and helpful in all interactions, visible, responsive to request for help, and a great addition to the HHS team.

Crespin Cortez extends kudos to:

Lonnie Feaster & Pete Castillo

Earlier this month, I was so impressed by how they REALLY went out of their way to calm down an upset student.  The way they visited with him & made him feel safe helped avoid a possible dangerous situation.

Beth Anne Preston celebrates:

Donna Moore merits recognition. She takes on new challenges with a can do attitude and a smile. Dr. Moore labors tirelessly to help students through the RTI process and interventions. Whether the projects entail PowerPoint, research, data mining, or anything else, she works to ensure success.

Tiffany Glawson celebrates:

Tanner Stephens!  Tanner is one of those students that every teacher wants to have.  He is always ready, prepared, willing to participate in class, and gives 100% at everything he does.  He always gives me and his classmates the utmost respect.  He comes in the door everyday greets me with a smile and asks how my day is going.  He is truly a wonderful student and an all-around great person.

Andrea Breedlove celebrates:

Pam Wright, Jessica Wallace, Amanda Diaz, and Cong Trinh did a great job Friday evening with the AVID Robing Ceremony.  Several teachers were in attendance to support their students.
